Overview
This 34' Billy Knowles express walk-around is a solid fiberglass non-cored construction throughout, single Cummins QSC diesel for reliable and economical operation, bow thruster, and a cozy cabin with galley, head, double bed, and dockside A/C.
Vessel Description
Step aboard into the large (9'8"x 8'6") cockpit with mounting pads for the two fishing chairs and rocket launcher binnacle. There is a large bait well/fish box molded into the transom, and a six foot center-line storage compartment under the sole that could be converted to another fish box. There are four rod holders and pop-up mooring cleats on the side gunnels, and a hot/cold freshwater shower in the cockpit. The helm deck fiberglass hardtop, with full isinglass enclosures, features a full-length settee to port, helm console to starboard, and a built- in tackle station with four drawers just forward. The walk-around side decks are protected by high gunnels with pop-up cleats for un-obstructed safe fish fighting. Stepping down into the cabin, the starboard side galley has a top-loading fridge and large double stainless sinks. The head with electric flush toilet is opposite, a hanging locker just ahead, and the double "V" berth is forward. The steps lift up for easy entry into the engine room.

Comments
Meticulous care in the build of this special boat shows in many details: solid (no core) fiberglass hull and deck, all interior wood joiner work (save the teak and holly floors) is finished in white gel coat, all interior exposed glass work has been gel coated, all systems are easily accessed for service, all drain holes have been fitted with brass piping, the list goes on..... This is a no-nonsense fishing boat of substance, reliable and economical to operate, and easy to maintain. There are not many single diesel engine fishing boats in this size class; this one deserves a close inspection by anyone shopping for one.
