Overview

Carpe Diem 1 is a 31 meter laminated original Gulet and fully equipped to accommodate 8 passengers, having 4 cabins, all with WC/shower and a spacious deck area. One master and three twin cabins. She is a traditional Turkish Gulet designed by Etemoglu Tersanesi in Bodrum. The classic mahogany superstructure, teak deck and mahogany laminated hull make her even more special.
The wheelhouse is large and open with great views and includes the latest technology. She is equipped with GPS, Radar, VHF Radio, compass, speed log, depth sounder and satellite communications. She is an opportunity not to be missed.

Accommodations

Classic mahogany interior, deckhouse and spacious saloon with open galley, four cabin lay-out and fully air-conditioned. She has a master cabin with a king-size berth in the front of the yacht and three twin berth cabins with all modern en-suite bathrooms. A separate entrance for crew cabin with 4 berths. The galley is fully equipped with fridge/freezer, dishwasher, ice maker, washing machine & dryer etc.

Electronics and Navigational Equipment

VHF radio, GSM telephones, fax, Radar, Autopilot, chartplotter, log, stereo CD player music system and TV in cabins. Extra: VCR and Satellite receiver.

Carpe Diem 1 is an all wooden handcrafted motor sailing yacht equipped with 2 masts, built in 2003 for cruising the Mediterranean Coast. She was originally built and used for chartering (this type of vessel was from origin used by fishermen and sponge divers to transport their catch). Carpe Diem 1 is luxuriously designed especially for your sailing pleasure while you are cruising the fabled Mediterranean Coast. Carpe Diem 1 was built on behalf of a Dutch experienced captain.

Sails and Rigging

Ketch sloop rig with steel masts, Harken equipment and Marcony rigged. 550 m² in total.
2x Gennakers, 1x Genua (150 m²). The Mast was completely re-painted in 2008.

Tenders

Windsurf, canoe, 4.20 m joker boat with 70Hp Johnson, 3.15 m joker boat with 9.9 Hp Johnson, optional water sports snorkling and fishing equipment. Extra's: searchlight, liferaft, 12 lifejackets. Swim ladder, swim platform, deck shower and gangway.
