Description This boat would be luxury living for a live aboard couple who like to entertain; or for a couple that wants to start their own charter business. This 1977 CSY 44 Walkover was originally designed for the charter business. It has a spacious cockpit with its high sides with the 2010 total enclosure with the clear isenglas dodger and canvas and screened sides provides a safe, 2016 updated cushions provide a comfortable and dry environment under sail, on the hook or at the dock. The wheel helm with its compass is position in such away to allow easy control of the main traveler and head sail sheets. The cutter staysail rig is self-tacking with all lines leading back to the cockpit. The electronics can be interconnected by the NEMA 2000 network, installed in 2016, with depth, speed, wind, water and air temperature and a canbus engine data. The standing and running rigging upgraded along with the mast refurbished and painted with the addition of LED Navigation lights installed in 2016. The Custom Arch and Davits were installed in 2015 It has a large aft cabin that is separate from the main salon. This cabin as a large berth that spans across the total cabin. A chart table and a full head/shower combo with plenty of storage and hanging closet. Plenty of room for Captain and crewmate. When venturing down the campanionway into the 6’7” high main salon with a 13’4” beam and spying to the port you’ll discovered one of the two new electrical panels, glancing down there is a large double deep stainless sink next to a very deep storage pantry adjacent to the storage unit is a 2015 propane 4 burner and oven combination. Moving down the portside there is a large settee with new cushions, in 2016 a classic wood cabinet and shelf storage rounding the corner of the cabin there is a flat screen tv hung on the bulk head wall. The settee table is winged and folds out to easily accommodate 6 people. Moving across the cabin, pass the passageway forward you’ll find a long lounge that, when the back seat is raised, and the bench seat is extended it creates a single berth bunk bed on top and a double berth bed below. Father back on the starboard side is a massive keel cooler refrigerator and freezer installed in 2016. Jumping back forward to the passageway that has a entrance to the separate shower that has is also accessible from inside the head. Across from them shower is a hanging closet. Passing through the doorway into the forward cabin you will be addressing a spacious V berth with a 2016 memory foam mattress. Under the cushions is a large storage locker. There is a door that enterance the head that was replaced in 2007. The companionway stair case; when removed, brings us to the engine room entrance door. The engine room is huge, clean and dry. It houses a 2015 Volvo D2-75 , 75 horsepower engine with less than 500 hours on it. The engine connects to an new transmission, with a dripless shaft seal and cutlass bearings all installed in 2017. The 6 2015 AGM batteries are located on the portside of the engine. The hot water tank and generator are also located on this side. |
