Now, she is ready for her next adventure and outfitted to go anywhere.

Accommodations Entering the companionway, you will find an ample galley to port and a well-planned navigation station, with a swivel chair, to starboard. Aft of the companionway and underneath the cockpit is a large double berth with a curtain for privacy. Heading forward, you step down into the salon area, where there is a spacious u-shaped dinette to port and a settee to starboard. The forward cabin has been converted into a workshop, complete with a workbench and bench-vise, as well as fastidiously organized storage. The cabin could easily be converted back to a berthing area, or could be kept as-is by an owner who wants to be able to easily perform repairs while at sea. The head is spacious and is located to the port. All new plumbing and a new holding tank have been installed. The feel of the interior is luxurious because of the fine teak detailing everywhere. This is a solid and seaworthy vessel, and feels as much. No detail has been spared. There is ample storage for long-term cruising, the boat combines comfort and functionality perfectly. Some bonuses:
|
Engines The boat was repowered in 2003 with a fresh-water cooled Universal 38 HP diesel. Hours are low and the engine is easily accessible for maintenance. |
Tankage Tanks are integral and located in the keel, which is divided into three sections (the forward contains lead ballast, the central contains a 130 gallon water tank, and the aft contains a 65 gallon fuel tank. This arrangement frees up the hull area of the boat for extra storage. |
Construction "Saben" is welded 5mm mild steel on 1.25" angle frames and 18" centers. Hulled is faired and there are no hard chines. Her Dutch craftsmanship is evident in interior and exterior detail. |
