Introduction
RHAPSODY is one of the most spacious boats of its size easily handled by a cruising couple. Port and starboard pilothouse doors, full walkaround decks, bow thruster and stabilizers allow for easy running and docking. A crew of two doing the "Great Loop" can manage to traverse the many locks along the way!
Although RHAPSODY has spent the majority of her life on the Great Lakes, the owners have cruised the "LOOP" one and a half times in 2004-2005! She is comfortably set up for extended stays at anchor or "at home" in a marina. Her refit in 2007-2008 included a new awlgripped hull, flybridge and decks, Wesmar stabilizers with 7.5' fins, 10hp bow thruster, along with systems that allow for extended time at anchor without using the generator. She is in excellent condition and a perfect choice for a cruising couple.
Vessel Walkthrough
There are 3 spacious staterooms, each with ensuite heads and separate shower stalls. The forward V-berth with twin beds and VIP guest stateroom with a walkaround bed are accessed from a spiral staircase in the pilothouse. Both Guest Staterooms have full hanging lockers, built-in teak desk and drawer storage.
The Master Stateroom is accessed from an aft spiral staircase off the Main Salon providing the owner with total privacy. MSR has a queen bed, 10' long his/hers hanging lockers, built-in desk, nightstands, under bed storage and a 4-drawer dresser.
The Engine Room is forward of the Master Stateroom and has 6' headroom with full access to the twin 375hp Caterpillar 3208 engines, Onan generators (8kw and 15kw) and full washer and dryer (new 2008).
The Galley is up on the same level as the Salon and Pilothouse and has plenty of counter and storage space. The Galley easily lends itself to preparing dinner for 6-8 guests or provisioning for month long cruises without having to grocery shop. Large cabinets and drawers store full sets of dishes, pots, toasters, electric frying pans, etc.--everything one needs for a truly live-aboard lifestyle.
