Overview

Recent Price Reduction on this 2001 52' Egg Harbor 52 Convertible for sale. The 52 Egg Harbor was introduced on the 50th anniversary of the famed builder with a timeless design from Dave Martin that not only reflected the company's long history in the sport-fish business, but also pointed to what would be the standard in future boatbuilding innovations as well.

Egg Harbor used a combination of techniques and materials that achieve high strength while keeping weight down as much as possible. Egg Harbor leans a little more to the high strength side of the equation, sticking to a solid fiberglass hull below the waterline. The 52, like all Egg Harbor hulls, features polyester and vinylester resins with 17 layers of mat, woven roving and triaxial glass to provide a solid, blister-resistant bottom. Hullsides and decks are cored with balsa, plywood or aluminum, depending on location. Bulkheads are tabbed and glassed to the hull on both sides, and fiberglass stringers are glassed into place.  This blend of solid construction, a semi-custom attitude and beautiful lines is a great recipe for a boat that has withstood the test of time.

This 52 has been very well maintained and shows extremely well.  Major engines services recently performed include:

New Heads, New Valves, New Heat Exchanges and After Coolers.  Feel free to email or call for me in depth information.
