Boarding from a floating dock is a breeze as you step onto the integrated Swim Platform outfitted with polished stainless handholds. Port and starboard transom boarding doors allow easy access from either side. Two shallow steps up through the transom door and you are on the aft deck. Port and starboard molded in gunnel steps allow easy and quick access to the Flybridge from the Cockpit. The forward facing Lounge has storage below and a fiberglass hi/lo table with polished stainless base makes dining or entertaining in the Cockpit enjoyable. The Flybridge overhang offers shade and lighting and speaker mounting for evening entertaining and your favorite music respectively. Port and starboard storage lockers offer ample storage and include dedicated line storage in the port locker. A stbd side opening Cockpit control station contains engine and bow-thruster controls for easy stern to docking. Also located here is the switch for the electrically actuated Engine Room/Lazarette hatch located in the Cockpit deck. Access to the Salon is through a beautiful polished stainless steel framed glass sliding door.
This Hampton 55 Pilothouse is the more popular two stateroom, two bath layout. The Salon, as well as the entire interior, is finished in high gloss cherry woodwork with excellent joinery and finish. Cherry wood blinds allow you to adjust the incoming light from the large Salon house side windows and fabric blackout draperies on a track in front of the full beam glass sliding door allows for complete evening privacy. Burl wood accents throughout the Salon add interesting visual detail and add to the rich feel of the cabin. The vinyl headliner also has a burl wood decorative inlay and cherry sea rails for safe Salon maneuvering underway. To starboard is a cherry wood and tweed fabric L-Lounge which converts into a double berth. A high/low cherry coffee table serves snack or dining duty. To port is a split style sofa with cherry end table and lamp separating the two seating areas. Two low leather stools may also serve as ottomans. The cabin sole is lush short nap carpeting and edged in a high gloss cherry wood boarder. A snap-in canvas carpet runner provides easy washable protection for the high traffic areas. A 36" LG LCD TV with SAT Receiver, Bose Stereo Surround Sound and CD/DVD/Blue Ray players provide evening entertainment. Forward of the L-Lounge are cabinets for storage and a built-in ice-maker. The Open U-shaped Galley is just forward of the Salon. The salon features American appliances, spacious Corian countertops, bar storage, pantry storage and ample below-counter storage cabinets and drawer stacks, aw well as above-counter storage cabinets. The Galley is wide open to the Salon, keeping the cook and helpers engaged in the entertaining. The Galley is large enough to prepare a meal for a large family and yet small enough to be comfortable while preparing a quick snack.
Just forward of the Salon and Galley, up a three step cherry staircase, is the Pilothouse. The Pilothouse features watertight port and stbd Pantograph doors to access the walk around foredeck and also make side to boarding safe and comfortable. Sliding side doors are common on lesser quality yachts in this size range. Sliding side doors are very prone to leaking, especially in heavy sea conditions and heavy rain while underway. The Pilothouse Helm is well laid out with all of the Navigation equipment you will need. the Lebroc leather helm seat is fully adjustable and offers comfort as well as positions the Captain at the best position for great visibility. A rear cockpit camera allows for rearward visibility. Westmar Hydraulic Stabilizers keep the vessel stable when the sea conditions are less than ideal. Aft of the helm seat is a forward facing Lounge which is high enough to offer good visibility to passengers wishing to join the Captain during the voyage. Access to the Flybridge from the Pilothouse is via a 6 step cherry wood staircase. Access to the staterooms is via the forward Pilothouse staircase.
The Flybridge may be accessed from the Pilothouse through a watertight polished stainless framed glass hatch. Access from the Cockpit through a fiberglass hatch is also offered. The flybridge Helm is forward for great visibility and features a molded fiberglass bench helm seat for up to 3. A complete complement of control systems and navigation equipment are provided for complete control of the vessel from this station. The Bimini top provides shade and the Radar Arch places all of the electronic antennas, dishes and arrays up high. To starboard is a comfortable L-Lounge with fiberglass hi/low table. To port behind the Helm is the L-shaped Wet Bar with refrigerator, sink and storage. There is ample storage below the Helm and L-Lounge seating. Sunbrella covers keep the Helm and seats out of the sun and weather. The aft section of the Flybridge is quite large and may be used for sun bathing or placing chase lounges. The aft portion of the Flybridge was designed to hold a RIB/tender (Rigid Inflatable Boat). "Lady Serenity" does not have the davit option, but one could easily be installed if you wish to carry a tender on the bridge.
At the landing of the Staterooms staircase is the Laundry built-in behind cherry cabinet doors. The laundry unit is a Splendide 2000 Combination Washer/Dryer. Laundry storage cabinets and drawer are also provided.
