Overview
This Hatteras Yachtfish is one of the few yachts that come to the brokerage market with a combination of a long-standing pedigree and upgrading that respects that heritage. In her 38 year lifespan she has had only four owners before the present one. He bought her to fulfill a long-held dream of cruising the Pacific Northwest, having cruised his Hatteras 61 CMY Time Out throughout the northeast for 15 years, including to Newfoundland. Over the past two years he has cruised Time Out West over 5000 miles through all our “gateways” to Glacier Bay and return. He has invested in her systems and appearance and she stands out as easily the best Yachtfish offered on the market. "Time Out West" boasts a modern designer interior and is outfitted to be one of the most perfect yachts for cruising the West Coast to Alaska. As the owner says, “if you are looking for a comfortable and capable cruising yacht to take you and your family to Alaska, this is the perfect choice; she has proven her capability by doing just that twice for me and mine. Despite a history of modest local cruising, never having been beyond Desolation Sound, we took her just after purchase from Seattle to Sitka in just 8 days – and no problems! Hatteras is legendary with their heavy no nonsense fiberglass construction and she easily surpasses all expectations.

The salon of "Time out West" has the feel and look of a new yacht with a professional designer interior that is simply gorgeous. The salon is accessed off the large enclosed aft deck forward of the cockpit through large double doors which combine the two areas. Located to the port side of the salon is a large three cushion couch. Directly to starboard are a pair of custom chairs that are incredibly comfortable.

The lower helm is ideal for taking command and has great visibility in all directions. The helm has bean updated an is set up incredibly well so that even the most demanding captain has full control and be right at home in the Stidd custom covered chair.

"Time out West" has received regular maintenance by the same Detroit Diesel specialists since 1987. Performance Diesels impeccable maintenance shows in her orderly, bright, well equipped engine room,. She is extremely well-found with a lengthy list of standard and optional equipment which ultimately provides a highly dependable vessel.

The aft deck is simply a comfortable space with Teak side doors and Barrett Canvas enclosure to hold the weather out.
