Overview

The SEA HERO is a 1989 model NONSUCH 33 wishbone catboat-rigged cruising yacht that was inspired by the Cape Cod catboat designs. Mark Ellis was the Naval Architect the NONSUCH series were built by HINTERHOELER YACHTS of Canada. She's hull number (38) out of some (67) produced from 1988 & over the next (10) years or so. Well-regarded for their quality of build, sailing performance & ease-of-handling .. not to mention the huge interior that compares favorably with yachts that are considerably larger! .. the NONSUCH 33's are always sought-after by knowledgeable cruising sailors who are looking for exactly what's she's selling.
The SEA HERO has a new NANNI 38 HP diesel installed as of Spring, 2019. Her mainsail is managed by a HARKEN H-40 EST electric winch. The SEA HERO's electronics are newer RAYMARINE & FURUNO additions (2015 onwards) and include a FURUNO VX-2 radar, RAYMARINE ES97 Multi-function Chart Plotter / GPS and i70 Series Speed / Depth & Wind instrumentation. The canvas includes a newer custom dodger & Bimini & connector piece.
As the Owner's cruising plans have changed, the SEA HERO is offered for brokerage sale. She represents an great value with her upgrades, to include the new engine & improvements and overall very good condition. Appointments for viewings are certainly are to be encouraged for the SEA HERO.

Owner's Comments
"Condition - QUALITY is the only word to describe this boat. Once you step aboard the SEA HERO, it doesn?t take long to understand why NONSUCH boats are considered to be ahead of the curve when it comes to quality and uncompromising construction. She boasts beautiful craftsmanship below and with the accommodation and storage facilities of a 40' boat.
As designed by Mark Ellis, she is a good-performing yacht and will make for safe, dry & enjoyable sailing. With her wishbone-rigged catboat mainsail and single main sheet only, she is, without a doubt, one of the easiest boats to handle while under sail.
The greatest advantage of  the SEA HERO is that she has recently been fitted with a BRAND NEW ENGINE this past Spring!. To date, this NANNI 38 HP diesel has logged less than 35 hours.
SHE IS A "MUST SEE" BOAT!"
