You want to cruise - maybe you've never had a boat, or maybe you don't want too much boat.....The Island Packet satisfies these requirements perfectly...The room on this 32 easily rivals a 35, even close to a 38. And, with a sturdy build, great reputation and high freeboard, you have a comfortable ocean boat. I would say it's the most capable 32 you can find and while you may think 'what about the Westsail 32', that's got nowhere near the room as this IP 32.
You can cruise in comfort on this boat, enjoying the space, wide beam and suprisingly large head, ample galley space, two cabins, as well as, a dedicated nav station. With a full keel, you will be hard pressed to bury the rail on a reach and you'll be last to reef given the 50% ballast ratio. A real sailor, she's ready to go and be put on a course for faraway lands. With the right sail trim and sheeting angles, you would be surprised by the windward performance - something these boats wrongly get accused of not having. Safety and Durability, you can go far and wide for a low investment considering the destinations that await.
Onwards is on the hard at the St. Mary's Boat Services yard, with fresh bottom paint, and has been left in the right manner for storage.
