MARIPOSA was one of the last of the Ted Hood Little Harbor 46s built. Exceptional quality, construction and finish work is evident throughout. Further, MARIPOSA has been particularly well maintained and upgraded to a standard that is exceptional.  

INTRODUCTION

MARIPOSA was one of the last of the Ted Hood Little Harbor 46s built. Exceptional quality, construction and finish work is evident throughout. Further, MARIPOSA has been particularly well maintained and upgraded to a standard that is exceptional.  

HULL CONFIGURATION

Centerboard configuration offers minimum draft of 5’-2” with board up and maximum draft of 10’-2” with board down.

ACCOMODATIONS

Two private staterooms with double guest cabin forward and owner’s aft, plus 2 settee berths in the salon berths for a total of 6 berths.

MARIPOSA has a beautiful, highly finished varnished teak interior with exquisite joiner work.

FORWARD STATEROOM

Forward is a large private stateroom with generous V-berth plus filler for converting to a comfortable double. Large hanging locker is to starboard with full head and shower facilities to port. Ingenious storage lockers above the berths along the hull deck joint. Drawers are located on all open faces of the berth arrangement as well as the lower face of the starboard hanging locker.

MASTER STATEROOM

The owner’s private stateroom is located aft with two generous single berths for comfort at sea with a centerline seat between Storage is more than ample with lockers and storage areas plus a generous hanging locker. A center mirror and vanity are located on the forward bulkhead. The owner’s head is forward to port with a separate large stall shower and a wet locker. Fine teak joinery work, which sets Little Harbor apart from others, is evident throughout.

SALON

MARIPOSA’s main saloon is large, bright, and airy, and features a settee/transom berth to port with pilot berth outboard. Opposite to starboard is a large U-shaped settee with inlay teak table. A custom, double glass cabinet for crystal, china or books is built into the forward bulkhead. Speakers for the entertainment center are located in the saloon and aft stateroom with individual volume controls and on/off switch for both locations. Little Harbor hull ports, port and starboard, complement the unique ambiance of MARIPOSA’s saloon. To port aft is a large, complete navigation station with seat and chart table, arranged for efficient operation.

GALLEY

The galley is located in the starboard walk-through with exceptional storage and counter space.
