2004 Luhrs 40 EXPRESS

This vessel was purchased  from the original owner who had it built for him. In April of 2019  the boat was hauled out of the water to switch from inboards to outboards. This conversion has been completed  5 times on other Luhrs that the owner has previously owned. When the boat was out of water the crew  went threw everything. They painted the hull with sky blue awl grip paint. Installed a custom aluminum bracket to hold the new 350hp Suzuki outboards with a start date of 5/19/19 warranty date for six years. Rewired boat for new electronics and controls. Replaced A/C systems. Front unit is a 5,000 btu Wabasto, main cabin is a 16,000 btu, and helm area has a 24,000 btu. All A/C systems are new at same time 8/18/18. All cushions, eisonglass curtains, and canvas were replaced 8/18/18. All electronics were replaced in August ( 4, 8inch pioneers, 2, 10 inch subs, 2, 1000 watt amps, all Garmin units, 2 - 7607 unit , 2- 7610xsv unit, Radar GMR 424, Satellite Weather GXM53, Autopilot G20, 1 kw transducer. Also has new KVH Trac Vision system installed.) There is a 8kw diesel generator with less than 100 hours. The generator is new in 2021. The total hours this boat has on it is around 1200. The new motors have around 450hrs.  The boat gets used so hours will go up as time goes by. Boat is in very good working condition and has been updated through out . Under mezzanine seat has a 270 quart freezer. The boat was hauled out 6/15/20 and bottom was done and motors serviced. I changed the layout inside to a 2 state room layout. The helm  was  moved aft and to stbd side of bridge deck and made  a L shaped couch to portside . The boat has 3 fuel tanks 2 x100 gallon tanks and 1 x400 gallon tank. The boat has a range of 450 miles. Cruise speed is 38 mph and top speed is 50 mph. This vessel is listed  at a fair price to sell !!  It was appraised after work was complete for 300k.
