Accommodations

CATHERINE is a MK-I Swan 46 with a MK-II interior; 2-cabins, 2 heads and centerline berth aft. The aft cabin features the centerline double bed and en suite electric toilet compartment with shower. The galley is to port of the main companionway and the navigation station is opposite to starboard. There one pilot berths to port over a large dinette settee and a single settee on strb in the main saloon. The forward cabin has a new marine head and a large pullman berth to port. The interior finish is Nautor's "Golden Brown" hand rubbed , satin varnished teak. The cabin sole is varnished teak and holly. The varnished teak interior woodwork is in excellent condition.

Galley

Stainless steel sinks with one hand mixing faucet and drying rack above. Chest of drawers for utensils. Teak breadboard, garbage bin on front bulkhead. Extractor fan over stove. 3-burner propane stove and oven. Iceberg refrigeration and freezer is hold over system with compressors belted off the main engine, generator and also 110V. Chest level refrigerator is 4.6 cu.ft., front opening. Deep freeze is 6.2 cu.ft. top opening with bin system for easy access. Red/white dome light over galley.

Main Salon

A U-shaped settee is located on the port side, with a pilot berth above and storage behind the cushions. A folding teak dining table accommodates 6 people. To starboard is a straight settee with storage/shelving and liquor locker forward. The settees are upholstered in off-white leather and include a set of canvas crew covers. Curtains throughout are in an off-white fabric to match.

Owner's Stateroom Aft

Hull

Hull is of solid laminate, hand-laid fiberglass. Stringers are of fiberglass over foam cores. Structural bulkheads are of marine grade water-proof plywood, laminated to hull and deck. The engine beds are fiberglass with steel inserts. The mast is stepped through deck onto a steel mast step with movable shoe for mast rake adjustment. The rudder is of foam filled fiberglass with a stainless steel stock, supported by two roller bearings (new in 2011).  White topsides with standard Nautor blue stripes awlgripped in 2011. Osmosis Blister treatment to underwater surfaces in 2007.
