Broker's Comments

NORTHERN CHILD is a very well-known Nautor Swan which has built a phenomenal reputation for long distance sailing and for excelling in regattas on both sides of the Atlantic.  She has been chartering at the highest level for a number of years and she continues to be a successful part of the chartering scene. Northern Child is being offered for sale on a managed basis ensuring that the yacht is available in both the Caribbean and in Europe with a programme that will defray expenses and also that she continues to be maintained to her current high level.   She is the perfect purchase for a Swan owner who would like to enjoy the yacht but who doesn’t have the time for the maintenance organization and infrastructure required to run a yacht of this size. Details of the package that comes with NORTHERN CHILD is available on request.

Owner's Comments

Whether Northern Child is on the race course, blue water cruising or making 200nm days on the Atlantic, Northern Child has been an utter delight to sail.  She is an amazing all round yacht, built in a time when quality was more important than profit.

We have had so many experiences and memories that will live with us forever onboard Northern Child from racing in the beautiful blue water of the British Virgin Islands, to cruising down the African Coast surfing 5m waves with the sun setting on the beam and casting beautiful reds and oranges across the sky. Northern Child is a yacht that you can take anywhere, race competitively one day and feel at home on the next.
