Overview

Well maintained, very clean older boat.  This vessel is well priced for someone who wants to get into boating.  Kanga has a large saili inventory, a life raft, clean interior and she has been professionally maintained.

Accommodations

Beginning at the bow there is an anchor rode locker followed by a spacious vee berth.  For racing the cushions and bunk top are removable to save weight.  Moving aft, there is an enclosed marine head with a holding tank to port with a sink and shower pan.  Opposite the head to starboard there is a large hanging locker and drawers.  Next aft is the salon with opposing settees and a pilot berth to starboard.  To port is another pilot berth with a removable storage module containing drawers and an opening cabinet.  The galley is farthest aft on the port side and has a three burner propane range with oven, a large icebox and sink.  There is a storage locker outboard.  Opposite the galley to starboard is the nav station with quarter berth.  Continuing aft and up the companionway ladder places one in the t-shaped cockpit.  You then cross a bridge deck at the forward end of the cockpit.  There is a very large cockpit locker to port and another smaller locker aft to starboard.  Most lines are led aft. The boat is tiller steered.  Like many boats of this era, she is a pleasure to sail, fast, very predictable and well suited to cruising or racing.
