The optional 8.1Ls Mercury Horizon V drives have been proven to be the best engine package for the 340 Sundancer. With only 750 hours total time on these engines there are years of service left before any major work should be needed. All manifolds and risers were replaced by the current owner and have been inspected recently by a reputable mechanic. They look like new. All batteries have been replaced. All heat exchangers and oil coolers have been serviced or replaced. Main engine raw water pumps have been replaced. New dripless shaft seals and housings.Even new custom, high performance, plug wires for the main engines!

Exterior and Cockpit

This boat is exceptional inside and out. Her care and condition is obvious when just walking up the dock. Almost all exterior canvas and upholstery has been replaced with comparable or better than new. Most canvas and isinglass is about 2 years old and includes sun covers as well as a “running” enclosure and Bimini that extends the length of the cockpit. Older full camper back enclosure is aboard and very serviceable. All discolored cockpit seating has been re-upholstered with new white vinyl. All cockpit carpeting is new with a better backing material for longevity and feel to the feet! New cockpit refrigerator and faucet. Even the inside of the transom rope locker has been cleaned, painted and detailed!
