The Great Northwest has produced many notable yachts in years past. The West Bay 68 Sonship certainly ranks high on that list. She has a reputation as a great “Sea Boat” with classic styling and joinery work that is second to none. “Hanky” is a fine example of what a 68 West Bay is all about. “Hanky” features reliable CAT 3412 power, twin Northern Lights generators, Furuno electronics, Village marine water maker, full hydraulics, and she is fully stabilized. The 3 stateroom/3 head layout plus crew is perfect for extensive cruising or a live aboard scenario. The expansive fly bridge deck features and extended bridge deck aft that is great for entertaining and creates a great space on the salon deck below. The full walk-around decks and west coast style rails give the vessel a safe and comfortable feel while underway. Please see the full specifications for more details.
Upon entering the vessel from the stern, proceed upwards from the European style transom to the aft deck. There is ample seating at the molded-in sofa lounge that is complimented by a large high gloss dining table on stainless pedestals. Entry into the salon is via the dual opening stainless framed doors. Once inside, the salon is large but feels very cozy with the neutral décor and oversized sofa. Proceed forward into the integral galley/pilothouse. The galley has a compliment of full size appliances including an oven. The settee that separates the galley from the lower helm is fully functional for formal dining or it provides an excellent platform for guests to see what is happening while under way. By continuing forward and down the companionway steps, the living quarters are situated. The full beam master stateroom is complimented with over abundant storage and a soft cherry satin décor. The VIP is forward and features a queen platform center line berth with en suite head. The guest stateroom to port is arranged with over/under bunks that are very comfortable. The guest head is accessible from the companionway. The fly bridge is accessible via the interior stairs in the galley or from the ladder on the aft deck. The crew and mechanical compartments are accessed via the transom door or hatch in the aft deck floor. The crew stateroom accommodates two people comfortably and features a private head and shower. There is a large tool/work space in the starboard side of the crew area. Move forward of the crew area for access to the full stand-up engine room.
