This 1980 Young Sun 37 trawler is in good condition and located in St. Michaels, Md.  Economical to operate with it's Perkins diesel engine, it would make a great weekend cruiser or a comfortable fishing boat.  A spacious salon, interior helm and open galley provide all of the amenities needed for comfortable cruising.  The current owner has constantly made improvements over the past few years and the boat is ready to cruise. 

MAIN DESCRIPTION

This 1980 Young Sun 37 trawler is in good condition and located in St. Michaels, Md.  Economical to operate with it's Perkins diesel engine, it would make a great weekend cruiser or a comfortable fishing boat.  A spacious salon, interior helm and open galley provide all of the amenities needed for comfortable cruising.  The current owner has constantly made improvements over the past few years and the boat is ready to cruise. 

ENGINE

This Perkins engine was rebuilt 398 hours ago.  Runs very well
The Perkins 6354 has a total displacement of 354 cubic inches. It had a bore and stroke of 3.875 inches by 5 inches, while the compression ratio is a large 16 to 1. The engine redlines at 2,800 rpm and had a maximum power output of 120 horsepower at 2,800 rpm. The max torque is 260 ft.-lbs. at 1,750 rpm. The turbocharger uses an air-to-air charge cooling design.
