Looking For a Pilot House?
This Beneteau Evasion 36 is a Rare Find.
Windswept is a one owner boat that has been well maintained along the way. With many offshore miles, she has proven herself a solid passage maker and island hopper. The owners said they hate to see her go but they simply have too many boats. She is on the hard near Stuart, Florida and can easily be seen in person or via FaceTime. Due to the rarity of such a boat there has been a lot of interest so don't expect her to be available for long. More photos provided by the owner are available to view via this link.

The Windswept Story
Windswept is a rare bird. As a single owner boat she was ordered new from France and imported at that time. She was then sailed in the chilly waters of the North Atlantic among the ice and then down to the islands where she has been cruised regularly. She stands out from other Beneteau Evasions due to her large transom extension that was designed and fabricated by the folks at Heritage Boat Yard in Canada. As divers, the owners wanted more space for gear and better access to the water. Below the water line you'll find another ambitious modification. As racers, the owners wanted better upwind performance but did not want to sacrifice the shoal draft qualities of the boat. So they went to Mars Metals who makes many Beneteau keels and asked them to construct a keel with a lifting dagger board. This dagger board with a 1000lbs bulb electronically drops two feet to create a 7' upwind blade. The rest of the boat has been maintained accordingly. All systems are go, so take advantage of this rare opportunity to own a pilot house with the sailing performance Beneteau is known for.
