Description

Groupe Finot kept an eye on luxury and comfort as well as reliability and cruising range when designing the Oceanis 523 Clipper for Beneteau. And with 16 feet of beam, she is certainly conductive to sumptuous living.

A Dodger protects the generous cockpit with the dual helm stations aft set slightly apart from the main cockpit. The broad, uncluttered deck offers plenty of space to appreciate the sailing away from the main action aft. Below, the three cabin layout plus crew cabin forward, allows for very comfortable living in a beautiful environment.

The hull is constructed of solid hand-laid fiberglass and is attached to the balsa-cored deck by polyurethane bond. An electric winch for the genoa furling system and a bow thruster are standard equipment, and the 110 HP Yanmar diesel is controlled from the starboard helm station. The Fractional rig carries a 130 percent genoa and has a SA/D of 22 and a length/beam of 3.0 for fine sailing off wind. Blu Magic promises luxurious cruising and plenty of room to relax with family and friends!
