Overview

A classic cruiser-racer, the C&C 35 was one of the company's stellar designs. With her beautiful lines and racing heritage she is a cruising sailor's dream of good handling and speed. Roxanne's shoal-draft and 51-foot mast makes her perfect for the Gulf Coast, the Caribbean and the ICW as well. Her owners have stored her on the hard each winter, between trips to the islands. She has just been recommissioned and splashed with new bottom paint, new cutlass bearing and new zincs. She has many excellent maintenance upgrades:

  • 1x19 stainless standing rigging redone in 2008 (due to seasonal storage her running rigging shows as-new).
  • Masthead LED tri-color/anchor light
  •  new Alder-Barbour fridge/freezer
  • new batteries installed in 2016 (start battery and house bank of 4-Trojan T-105s)
  • Battery isolator/combiner, Charles 40 amp 3-stage smart charger, Balmar 100 amp alternator with Balmar smart charging regulator (all added 2012-2016), and Link 10 Battery Monitor.
  • A new engine-exhaust elbow installed in 2014.
  • Her Barient winches and Edson steering pedestal just been refurbished.
  • Owner added Rule 2000 bilge pump and float switch to augment standard electric bilge pump and back-up manual pump.

Roxanne's cosmetics are showing some age, which is reflected in her price, which will help her next family enjoy this competent sea-proven, blue-water vessel.

Accommodations

Roxanne has a large and long V- berth cabin forward followed aft by a port-side head and shower.

The main salon follows with a port-side dinette that converts to a double berth (sufficient for six-footers) and a starboard settee that also converts to berths. The galley, with its 3-burner propane stove/oven is to port and the navigation station (which makes a great desk) is starboard and combined with a huge quarter-berth.

The spacious interior layout is perfect for a cruising family, and would make great live-aboard for a couple.

Main salon floor is teak and holly.
