Overview

Sail La Vie is an extremely rare Cabo Rico Northeast 400 pilothouse motor sailor. Only a couple of dozen of these boats were ever made, which is a shame because they’re one of the few motor sailors that purportedly sail well and motor well. Its delightful, sun-filled pilothouse and galley take away the “submarine” feeling of many sailboats, putting its passengers above the waterline enjoying the view. With a fully equipped galley, second stateroom doubling as a study/office, and huge amount of storage, this boat would be a comfortable one to live aboard, especially for someone who has the luxury of working from home – at whatever destination home might be at the time! And this girl is far from sluggish – the Northeast has been known to sail at 9 knots and her Yanmar engine can provide cruising speeds of 8 to 10 knots. A real show stopper, Sail La Vie is in excellent condition inside and out, with many updates including a full complement of sails within the last three years. The pictures do not do this tidy yacht justice; you have to see her in person to really appreciate how well she’s cared for.
