Overview

The Carver 36 Aft Cabin was built on a "dual-mode" trawler-style hull, meaning that it can run efficiently at slow 7-8 knot displacement speeds and still plane out when the throttles are fully applied. Her interior accommodations are roomy and well-suited to the needs of family cruisers. The double-cabin floor plan features a large master stateroom aft with a tub/shower in the adjoining head compartment. The galley is amidships w/stove to starboard and refrigeration to port. The saloon (up a level) comprises a dinette to port with the inside helm position to starboard.   Outside, the raised aft deck platform is large enough for a few folding chairs, and the bridge is only three steps removed with additional guest seating. The command bridge is accessed via a companionway ladder from the aft deck.The standard 270 hp gas Crusaders will cruise around 16 knots and reach a top speed of 26 knots.  RARE PLAN "A" MODEL.
