Overview
There are no phrases that would adequately convey the excellence of this superbly maintained fresh water boat. The owner is truly determined that the "DOVETAIL" be the cleanest, best kept, yacht in the country. From bow to stern, from the top of the radar arch to the lowest part of the bilge, every effort has been made to set the ultimate standard of ownership. Many items have been added to make her easier to maintain and easier to run and operate. From the stainless steel anchor on the bow to the freedom lift on the stern, a great deal of thought and expense is exhibited that make "DOVETAIL" so fantastic. If you see this offering you will want to drive it away.
Walkthrough
Starting in the cockpit, you have a gate to the swimming platform to starboard and a ladder to the flying bridge. The large sliding glass door leads into the salon and to the "open" layout which allows you to see all the way forward to the helm console. An L-shaped couch is on the starboard side with a lounge chair opposite. The galley is forward with a counter separating it from the salon sitting area. Just two steps up puts you into the pilothouse with curved settee to port with a table in front of it. Visibility from the helm is about 360 degrees as you can see all the way to the transom from the helm chair.
The companionway to the lower deck is to starboard, curving down to the door of the master stateroom on your left. To your right is the door to the second head which serves as a day head as well and to the VIP stateroom. Just forward to port is the door to the third stateroom which has upper and lower berths. The stairs to the fly bridge are immediately to the left on the steps up from the galley to the pilothouse.
The Master has an en suite head located aft on the port side. The queen size bed runs athwart ship facing the TV and storage compartments. The VIP has a center-line queen size bed with storage aft to starboard and storage beneath it. There are opening ports in both the Master and VIP with an overhead hatch to the fore deck.
Access to the engine room is through a hatch in the cockpit floor. The access ladder is removable to make it easier to get further aft to the steering gear. Going forward, there is good headroom and good access to the systems, batteries, and thru hulls.
The flying bridge is very spacious with a full enclosure (that looks new) a comfortable settee forward of the helm and a bench seat behind it. Aft of the bench is an upper aft deck where the davit is located. There is sufficient space on that deck to carry a skidoo or jet-ski. This area is used for casual lounge chairs where you can sit to enjoy the view.
