Overview

JUST LISTED - Cheri-Lynn is a beautiful and well maintained, one-owner, Catalina 310.  Classic Catalina quality construction, she offers a well laid out cockpit with steering pedestal and instrumentation, custom Captain's chair, closed cell foam cushions, dodger and full bimini covers.  She is fitted with 135% furling Genoa, in-mast furling Dacron main sail, spinnaker, dual speed self-tailing winches, and double spreader mast.  Interior is highlighted with finished teak and holly throughout, forward and aft berths, wet head, galley, dinette with 2 interchangeable table tops (cocktail table and dining table), settee, well equipped galley and portals and screened hatches throughout.  She is powered by a 25hp inboard diesel.

Walkthrough

Cheri-Lynn is easily accessible from either the port or starboard life lines or from the swim platform via the stern boarding ladder and walk through stern.  The cockpit is very spacious with under storage to port, starboard and aft.  Access to the sails and rigging is along wide side decks with molded-in non skid texture surfaces.  Down the companionway steps (and engine cover), the wet head is located port aft with the dinette port forward,  To starboard aft is the rear berth, navigation center and galley.  Starboard forward is the settee.  Center forward is the main berth with privacy door.  Operating portals and overhead hatches are located throughout providing ample light and ventilation. 


Cockpit

The Catalina 310 offers a large an spacious cockpit with a central instrumentation and control pedestal with folding steering wheel and collapsible cocktail table. Port and starboard cockpit bench seating comes with custom closed cell foam seat cushions along with folding chairs. There is a custom center helm seat (with cup holder) along with port and starboard stern perch seats.
Under seat lockers (full length port and full beam aft) offer plenty of room for storage of sails and safety equipment as well as access to the auto pilot, blower, emergency tiller and shelves (port side) and access to the hot water heater, refrigeration compressor and shelving (starboard side). There is an emergency hatch from the aft berth to the cockpit along the starboard bench seat.
The cockpit transom includes port and starboard propane lockers, Force 10 grill (with cover), mounting stand along with walk through stern with a boarding ladder and swim platform with swim ladder.
Other cockpit features include cockpit shower (hot & cold), manual bilge, and life ring. There are multiple ZarCor interchangeable custom doors with interchangeable inserts (smoked plexi-glass, No-See-Um screened, and solid white) for the companionway.  There is also a 12V ?convenience outlet? on the control pedestal.

Deck & Equipment

Cheri-Lynn offers wide side deck for easy access forward and aft.  Deck areas are non-skid textured surface.  Safety features include double life lines with pelican hooks, double rail bow and stern pulpits (with mounted life ring), and stainless steel handrails on top of the cabin.

Additional deck features include the anchor locker located on the foredeck.  Ground-tackle includes a Rocna 33 anchor with 20ft of chain and 200ft of line and a Fortress 16 anchor with 6ft of chain and 200ft of line.  Ground-tackle also includes a Cullett 10# anchor weight and line.

Salon

The main single cabin includes the aft berth, navigation station, galley, head, engine compartment, forward berth and salon.  The salon features include the dinette to port forward and settee to starboard forward.  The dinette features a central table that can be changed out into a cocktail table with cup holders (3ft x 2ft) and a dining table (5ft x 3ft).  The L-shaped dinette seat has under storage for the house and starter batteries (8Ds replaced this spring).  Additional storage is located above the dinette which includes a single cabinet and shelf storage.  Forward of the dinette is the 15in LCD TV with digital converter.  Pioneer speakers are located in the forward corners of the salon.
Across from the dinette and along the starboard side of the salon is the settee with under and above storage.
To port and starboard are multiple portals with screens, overhead windows with blinds, and overhead hatches with screens.

Accommodations

The Catalina 310 offers both forward and aft double berths.  The forward berth offers a walk around queen with steps to port and starboard. Storage features include a wraparound shelf, 4 drawers under the berth, hanging locker to starboard and a small storage locker and shelf to port (TV swivels from custom shelf within the salon into berth area).  There is a privacy screen and privacy door between the forward berth and the salon.
Added features to the forward berth include: - Overhead hatch with screen and blinds - 2 portals with screens and blinds - 4 overhead lights - Fan and convenience outlet.
There is also access to the windlass through a forward locker and in-floor access to anchor wash-down and through port for the knot meter and depth finder
The double aft berth is beam wide.  There is storage for the dinette tables.  Access to the hot water heater is also though the aft berth. 
Both the forward berth and aft berth have custom Catalina linen packages.


Galley

The L-shaped galley is located to starboard aft.  Galley features include: - Stainless steel LP Hillerange oven (with under storage) and 2 burners stove top  - Front and top loading refrigerator access - Central Tappan microwave oven with side storage cabinets - Stainless steel sink with side and under storage - Side cabinet storage and under shelf storage - Overhead lights - Overhead portal recently replaced - Pump for overboard discharge for refrigeration system (located in head)


Head

The Catalina 310 head, located to port and to aft, is a split design with the wet head and vanity separated. A privacy shower curtain encloses the head and shower.  The head is a manual design.  The vanity includes a sliding mirrored cabinet up and single cabinet down along with a central sink.  The head portal has recently been repaired and includes blinds. There is overhead lighting.
Plumbing features include: - Shower sump controls - Access panel to macerator (off) and through hull - 3-way pump under the sink for sink drainage (own through-hull, shower sump, refrigeration condensation)
The interior privacy door is comprised on wood trim and vinyl panels and exterior (toward the galley) is wood finish.  

Electronics

Cheri-Lynn features the following electronics: - Raymarine Raychart 435 Chart Plotter System (Depth finder, speed and trip, wind direction) - ST4000 MK2 Autopilot - ICOM M422 VHF Radio with Command Mic in Cockpit - Pioneer AM/FM/CD with DVD (at NAV station) with speakers in the cabin and installed below the two helm seats (aft starboard and port)

Engine, Controls & Features

Cheri-Lynn is powered by a Westerbeke 25hp diesel-powered engine with 369 engine hours.  The engine is very accessible and located under the engine cover / steps down from the cockpit into the salon. The Westerbeke (Model 25XP) is a Universal Diesel, freshwater cooled with engine panel and tachometer located in the cockpit.  Panel includes instrumentation for temperature, Volts, Fuel, RPM and shut off.
Engine controls are located on the central cockpit steering pedestal and include fwd / rev and throttle.
Additional features include: - Two bladed bronze propeller - 5in illuminated Richie compass - Bilge blower - 32in Destroyer stainless steel wheel - Emergency tiller
