Overview

Accommodations

The Catalina 36 MK II  is a very comfortable sailing yacht whether you are setting out for a family vacation or running around the buoys with your best sailing buddies.  The 36 Mk II has a very large Vee Berth forward with hanging locker and cabinets on either side of the entry and additional storage cubbies and drawers under the berth.  The Head follows aft on port and features a commode and sink and separate shower area.  The Saloon has a very large port side convertible dinette as well as a game table/berth/settee on starboard side providing the flexibility to accommodate up to 7 crew and guests. When not needed the dining table stores out of the way on the bulkhead.  The Galley is large and functional with lots of storage and counter space with stove/Oven, microwave, refrigeration and double sink.  Across on starboard is the Nav Station with electrical panel and radios all within easy reach. A custom cabinet has been built under the desk but all original Catalina parts are available.  The Aft Cabin has a queen sized berth.  There is a cabine and hanging locker at entrance.  There is an escape hatch into the cockpit that also provides good air flow.  The 36 is very roomy for her length and luxuriously comfortable.  And by the way the cockpit is big and well laid out for sailing, entertaining or a night under stars.
