RCD Status: Our understanding is that the yacht is exempt from the essential safety requirements of Directive 94/25EC (Recreational Craft Directive) as she was built and placed into use within the EU prior to 1998.

Hull, Deck & Superstructure Construction:

• Built to approved design under supervision of Lloyd’s Register.
• Supervision certificate supplied for each yacht.
• Hull and deck from GRP by hand-layup method, insulated above water.
• Hull: NGA-gelcoat, white 200 and iso-polyester.
• Deck Ivory white.
• Decks and coachroof areas are of sandwich type construction.
• Hull and deck joined by overlapping GRP laminate.
• All bulkheads laminated in on both sides.
• Freeboard has blue decorative stripe, superstructure has non-slip pattern.
• Rubber strake under blue stripe.
• Teak deck and cockpit seats in 12mm teak laid in rubber.
• Toerail, handrails and all other woodwork on deck in solid teak.
• The blue decorative stripe is gelcoat.

Keel & Rudder:

• The yacht has a bolt on lead keel of 3,400kg; 17 x 20mm stainless steel bolts.
• Rudder shaft 65mm with roller bearings.

Engine & Gearboxes:

• 1 x Volvo Penta MD 22 4-cylinder 57hp diesel engine.
• On flexible rubber mountings with water cooled rubber exhaust pipe and silencer.
• The engine is fresh water cooled.
• All filters in engine room directly accessible.
• The service side of engine is also accessible from walkthrough.
• The engine room is sound-proofed.

Propulsion & Steering:

• Steering column in cockpit in GRP with engine lever easily accessible.
• Hide covered steering wheel.
• On one side of the cockpit, recessed in coaming and well protected behind a plexiglass screen is the engine instrument panel with engine start. Similar recess for the Auto pilot on the opposite side.
• Three blade max prop with rope cutter
• Solimar cable steering system with roller bearing and turning blocks; the steel cables run over extra-large guide rollers and run through pipes to protected from dirt and damage.
• Steering column in GRP to prevent electrolysis.
• Steering wheel in stainless steel and hide covered – 2.5 rotations from lock to lock.

Voltage Systems:

•  12v system.
• Located behind the chart table in the walkthrough is the instrument panel with circuit breakers.

Battery Banks:

• Three further 12v batteries, totally 300Ah for the general purpose electrical system.
