Carol Cee is a one owner absolutely custom Hinckley Sou'wester yawl launched in 1986.
"...the pure grace and simple beauty of the Hinckley design and the impeccable quality of the craftsmanship that goes into each and every hand-built Hinckley yacht. While there are many great boats plying the waters of the world, none have the soul of a Hinckley, drawn from the incredible spirit and pride of the American craftsmen in Trenton, Maine, who have been bringing Hinckley yachts to life since 1928." ~ Robert Iger : Vanity Fair May 2014
CAROL CEE is fresh from the paint shed and has had an extensive refit after sitting in a climate controlled hangar for nearly 5 years. She has had all of her standing rigging replaced and the main engine and genset have been totally inspected and serviced as necessary. She is easily seen in her hangar in Plymouth, MA.
Her owner ordered her with a much extended main salon and only 2 staterooms forward. She is, truly, a gentleman's cruising yacht but also a perfect fit for family sailing to the far corners of the world. CAROL CEE is not for the puppy boater or arm chair sailor. She wants to get out and spread her sails and go conquer the world. With her relatively short draft, there are few places she is unable to visit.
The Carol Cee is the awesome result of a combined effort between one very knowledgeable yachtsman and the world renown Hinckley Shipyard in Maine. She was ordered as a true family cruising yacht with the toughest pedigree available, a classic design, and a true sea going capability.
The Sou'wester 50 series delivered great performing yachts. Her beautiful lines will make your heart pound faster. One family has enjoyed her for all of these years. For the past 5 years she has lived in a climate controlled hangar. She has just returned from a paint shed and is absolutely glorious in her own right. Additionally, a major refit from the bottom of the keel up to her rigging has just been completed. This one owner yacht is ready to make family memories with her next family.

MAIN SALON
The main salon is considerably larger than most of the 24 SW 50's built before CAROL CEE.
The deletion of the aft head created a much larger and comfortable main salon. Large windows, numerous opening port lights, and a major deck hatch provides lovely light that highlights the matched teak. Her varnished sole adds to this sea going, performance yacht , that can be your home on the water. Blue upholstery with nautical striped throw cushions cover both port and starboard settees. The large teak dining table is also adjustable and can provide an additional double berth.
QUARTER BERTH
There is a passage watch berth or quarter berth located aft to starboard . The generator remote start is located here.
MASTER STATEROOM-Forward

MAST AND RIGGING
Carol Cee is fitted with a Hood Stow Away, hydraulic boom vang, and a Reckmann RIII headsail furler.
A list of winches:
Cockpit
The cockpit is spacious but well protected inside surrounding coaming. The mizzen mast is stepped just aft of the helm station. A set of electric primary winches, port and starboard of the helm, are conveniently located on the outer coaming.
Carol Cee is in the process of a total refit. She is lying in a climate controlled airplane hangar. As of mid April 2017, she was currently having her rigging replaced.
This is a spectacular buying opportunity for someone if purchased prior to the refit completion . Call for complete updates. Carol Cee is waiting to feel the wind in her sails and to make great memories for another family.
