General Description

Designed with flexibility in mind, the Hunter 376 lets you live life to the fullest - whether sprinting under full sail, entertaining family and friends, or enjoying that long weekend or vacation cruising. The 376 is outfitted with a fractional rig featuring a full-roach, fully-battened mainsail and all lines leading aft. The cockpit is large, with an integrated wheel console, hinged helm seat and a walk-through transom with swim platform. The 376's roomy and bright interior boasts wraparound windshield; three staterooms including the double aft cabin; L-shaped gourmet galley; and a marine head with vanity and stall shower. The Hunter 376 comes with the Cruise Pac, as standard equipment. It isn't just sails, winches, and running rigging. It's an extensive list of things like galley, anchor, fire extinguisher, running lights, life jackets. 


Sail Area and Rigging

Sails are in good working condition.

Standing rigging is in good condition and the running rigging is serviceable. One electric Lewmar 44 winch and three manual self tailing Lewmar 40 winches. The traveler is located forward of the cabin companionway and out of the way.

Vessel Walk Through

Upon entering the cockpit area is seating for at least eight, three below the seat storage lockers and a large helm station. The helm feather four Lewmar winches, one of which is electric powered. All running rigging lines run aft to the cockpit. Aft of the helm station is the walk thought to the molded in swim platform which has a swim ladder and two storage lockers.

Moving forward on deck you will see new safety lines and clean deck areas for moving forward. The windlass is housed in the anchor locker at the bow.

Going below you find the L shaped galley to starboard with the head opposite to port.

Aft are mirrored berth port and starboard. These two berths could be combined into one large master berth if desired.

Forward of the galley and head is a U shaped settee and on starboard with the chart table and smaller settee to port. Hidden teak cocktail table mounts at small settee back. Storage above and below each settee. All batteries and charger are located under the port settee seat. The starboard settee has the water pumps and AC under the seat. Holding tank gauges are located at the chart table.

Next forward at the bow is the third berth Vee shaped with a vanity sink.


Deck and Hull

Large and comfortable cockpit with ease of use to the swim platform.

The cockpit has an engine storage bracket.

The SS safety lines are new.

BBQ grill on the rail in the cockpit area.

Bottom paint is recent and the bottom is periodically cleaned by a professional diver.

Life Sling at cockpit.

Cockpit shower hot and cold water.

12 fixed ports and skylights, with covers for large hatches.

Easy to operate helm cover and Bimini top.

 

 


Electrical & Mechanical

Shore power is provided via dual 30amp connections. The ProMariner Smart 20amp charger will handle three battery banks and it is new. All three batteries are new with separate switches for the start battery and the two house batteries.

Bilge pumps are automatic electric and manual hand pump.

AC is a single 16,000 btu with heat.

This Hunter needs a new propane stove/cooktop and a new refrigeration units.

Electronics include the standard Hunter ST50 package including autopilot.

Engine and transmission have been recently serviced. A new starter has been installed. Engine total hours is unknown but this owner has installed an engine hour meter.

 

 

 


Galley

The L shaped galley has two refrigeration compartments but needs a new refrigeration unit. The propane stove has been removed and needs a new one. Locker storage adequate for a vessel of this size. Microwave is located above the stove area. Double bowl SS sink.

This 1997 Hunter 376 is in good condition for her age and merits a preview for any interested buyers who are seeking a comfortable coastal and offshore cruiser.

The owner has relocated to another state and is unable take Nada Mas with him.
