Overview

This is the second generation from Hunter, the Hunter 30-2 with the addition of the T-Shaped cockpit to accommodate the wheel steering.  The self-bailing cockpit has a lift up helm seat to facilitate the walk through transom and swim platform for cooling off or for safe and easy access to a dinghy.There are 4 cockpit lockers in addition. The 30-2 is known to be a comfortable cruising vessel with a larger volume cabin that is affordable with all the features the cruising family wants. 

Her interior features a thwart ship aft cabin double berth, and enclosed head, a dinette that converts to a double. Along with the forward double cabin, she boasts sleeping for up to seven sailors.

There's plenty of storage for all of your gear including two hanging lockers.  The L-shaped galley is equipped with gimbaled stove & oven, large ice box with 12V Refrigeration, SS sink, hot and cold pressure water. The interior is appointed with teak and holly sole and an abundance of teak throughout.  A true nav station is the perfect place for your charts and laptop. There are 7 opening ports and 3 deck hatches for excellent light and ventilation. 

Her fractional, double-spreader rig is designed for easy headsail handling and the boat is balanced with main alone. When the wind dies you can motor up with the Yanmar inboard diesel, which has excellent access for maintenance.
