Charitoo is a Beautiful 1984 Irwin 38. In the water and ready for her new owner to enjoy

The Irwin 38 is a well know cruising yacht. This model is perfect for Florida sailing with a shoal draft of 4’-3”. The lazy jack system and cockpit roller furling helps keep everything tidy. The new head sail will give plenty of crossings. The Perkins 4-108 is a well know and easily maintained diesel motor with 1602 hrs. The Westerbeke Genset with 57.1hrs will power up the Air Condition while at anchor if needed. The cold plate refrigeration is a great design, and will keep items cold for a few days. This Irwin is fitted with 140-gallons of fresh water as well as a 60-gallon diesel fuel tank. With a LOA of 40’ it will fit into most slips along your travel routes.

The cockpit is covers with a bimini attaching to the dodger. The cockpit cushions are long enough to sleep on. The helm station has both depth and GPS at your fingertips, as well as a Raytheon autopilot. A nice feature is the 2 deck prisms which allow plenty of light into the galley and chart table areas. Charitoo’s interior is finished in beautiful teak. This boat is equipped with a wind generator for maintaining batteries. There is also a well-built dinghy davit system and a swim platform to access your dinghy once you have launched it.  - Recent survey available. New bottom paint in 2022.
