Designed by Philippe Briand and the Jeanneau Design department, the Sun Odyssey 43 D.S. is a cruising sailboat with nautical elegance.
Segue is built to get you through those light air spots but will handle the rough stuff. Plenty of storage and comfortable accommodations this is what you need to go and explore.
A very popular design, the DS (Deck Salon) is a bright airy concept that allows easy viewing of the exterior surroundings from down below. It has a large L shaped galley with new ENI two-burner gas stove/oven, 9 cf of fridge/freezer with Dometic C-100 DC unit (freezer makes ice), and a split double stainless steel sink with saltwater foot pump. A large head with walk in shower connects to aft cabin. Large forward V berth area with two additional bunks can be used for sleeping or storage. There is another head/shower accessible from the forward cabin.
The DS has a larger than normal aft cockpit area with ample seating and a nice foldaway cockpit table for entertaining. All controls for sailing (sheets and furling line) are located in the cockpit, making for easy sailing even for shorthanded cruising. New North roller furling mainsail, newer roller furling jin, all sheets and furling lines replaced 3 years ago.
