CONSTRUCTION
HULL
Made by fiberglass reinforced polyester by the hand laying-up method.
Structural bulkheads are of marine water-proof plywood, laminated to hull and deck.
Stiffeners are GRP lay-ups over foam cores. Web floors of GRP are laminated to hull.
Engine beds are of GRP with steel inserts
On topsides heavy teak rubbing strake with stainless steel strip
White gel coat colour finish (still original never re-painted), cove stripe blue (Nautor light blue)
KEEL
Ballast keel is a lead casting with antimony with cast-in keel stainless steel bolts
RIG ANCHORAGE
The masts are stepped through the deck on galvanized mild steel mast steps

PLUMBING

FUEL SYSTEM
Fuel capacity 1800 liters (480 US gallons) in four tanks with shut-off cocks located under the saloon, aside the engine room.
Three tanks are as reservoir, only the fourth one is the daily tank connected directly to the engine by flexible tube with two filters.
The three reservoir tanks are connected to the main daily tank by a pump manually activated with a flow capacity of 30lt/minute.
