Overview

In the late 70's, Gordon Fisher commissioned Mark Ellis to design a boat that was very roomy, stable, easy to sail fast and level. Over 950 examples were built by George Hinterhoeller for many happy owners. Very few boats can match the spaciousness in such a short length.

The great sailing qualities come from a single free standing mast, without stays, a powerful single main sail controlled by an ingenious wishbone boom. Control of the sail is simple and fast and allows easy reefing and sail shaping to optimize sailing in all points. The heavy keel and wide beam makes sailing flat and a joy that few monohulls can compare.

This example is an Ultra 30 version and has a recent engine change, and the owners have kept in in optimal condition. This boat has only been in Florida for a short time and looks like a much newer boat.

The owners of this beautiful Nonsuch Ultra 30 are reluctantly selling her because of a growing family obligation and lack of time to sail. They would like to sell before hurricane season to keep from sailing north.

Please call Cal Landau at 561-312-0010 to view this exceptional example.

Out of state buyers can sail in beautiful Florida waters tax free for put 180 days. Ask me how!!
