Overview

This classic custom Norman Cross trimaran is a proven cruiser. She has recently returned from a cruise down to South America and through the Panama Canal. Many upgrades including new upholstery, top sides, and bottom paint. She was re-rigged in 2014. She has a great layout for a cruising couple or family. She has an aft cabin stateroom with queen sized bunk and head. Custom interior of ash and canary wood. Large cockpit, as well as a separate fishing cockpit aft. Great liveaboard boat, fast, strong and stable.

Sunday is powered by a Yanmar j3jh three cylinder, 40 horsepower Diesel engine. The motor turns a 17 inch three blade fully feathering propeller. The propeller is a “Max prop” made in Italy, sold in the US by the PYI company. It provides exceptional reverse thrust equal to the forward thrust.

Her watermaker is a Spectra modular 12 volt unit. It is the earlier “Catalina” model which is similar to the model sold under that name today but in a more simple configuration.

The current owners purchased Sunday in unfinished and cosmetically poor condition in 2002.  She was hauled to their property where she was completely renovated and relaunched inn2005. Sunday was re-rigged four years ago after being dismasted due to a lightening strike.

She has transported us to beautiful and exotic ports as we watched the world go from the comfort of her cockpit.
