MARY HAY was built for us by Northshore Yachts in 1999.  She has proved an able and seaworthy yacht easily handled by a cruising couple and has taken us to Holland, France, Spain, Portugal and as far as Egypt over the past 15 years.  Her accommodation is well suited for extended periods on board. Reluctantly, health reasons have persuaded us it is time to part with her.

RCD Status: The yacht conforms with the essential safety requirements of Directive 94/25EC (Recreational Craft Directive) and is categorised A – “Ocean” (or Cat B – whichever is appropriate)

Hull, Deck & Superstructure Construction:

·         Hull and deck constructed using the Northshore’s Nordseal system. Teak laid in cockpit and treadmaster on side decks.

·         Hull Solid GRP from 6’’ above the water line to keel above that it has a 12’’ balsa core for stiffness and insulation.

·         Deck GRP with Balsa core and Ply in reinforced areas.

Keel & Rudder:

·         Rudder moulded GRP with stainless stock on skeg.

·         Encapsulted lead keel with 8198lbs fully encapsulated in keel and over-laminated.

Forecabin:

There are two full length single berths with an infill to create a double with interior sprung mattresses. Grp storage bins under the berths with the chain locker forward. Storage locker and shelves under deck hanging locker and dressing table to starboard.

Forward Toilet:

En suite to the fore cabin to port the forward heads marine toilet with hinged cover laminate surfaces hot and cold water system and shower with teak grating.

Saloon:

L shaped seating to port bench to starboard fixed drop leaf table with bottle storage. Cupboards and open shelves both port and starboard, again fitted with bottle storage (aft starboard). Lee cloths.

Galley:

L-shaped galley to port.

Nav. Station:

Forward facing nav. station to starboard.

Aft Toilet:
