MANUKAI is a classic Holman & Pye Oyster 46 with a real pilothouse, complete with an indoor steering station. Offered for sale for the first time by her original owner, she has been nicely updated through the years, including a new engine in 1999. She is easily handled by one with her Hood electric in-mast main furling system, electric winches, bow thruster and the sail combinations that only a Ketch allows for. Her layout is impressive for her size, boasting three private staterooms, plenty of storage, redundant systems and heat when needed. Her rig is 61’ over the water and her draft is only 6’, which makes her an ideal Bahamas cruiser capable of transiting the Intracoastal Waterway bridges.

Now fully commissioned and on her mooring in Newport, RI, she is seriously for sale and ready to take her next family on their adventures.

Layout and Accommodations

Great interior layout belowdecks. Starting forward is a head with shower, shared by twin one-over-one cabins with a centerline bulkhead that can be opened up to make one large VIP cabin.

Next aft is the impressive main salon with classic Oyster deck saloon windows and a large table (with standalone heating system in base that works off the engine) with wrap-around settee to starboard.

Across to port and forward-facing is the inside steering station with good sight lines out the forward-opening deckhouse window (with wiper). Height-adjustable nav chair with full set of engine controls; redundant stand-alone steering system, autopilot control head etc. A single-seat settee is just aft of the steering station, for secure offshore seating.

Aft and down to starboard is the large galley. This walk-through “alley” galley provides access to the aft cabin.

Proper teak rub rail with stainless steel half round. Hull ports for additional light below. Custom Sheel keel provides reduced draft of only 6’.
