Overview
A Classic Acadian Yawl by Paceship of Mahone Bay, Nova Scotia
This solidly built, extremely well kept and constantly upgraded classic boat is a great fit for anyone new or not so new to sailing. A full keel makes her very stable and forgiving, an excellent cruiser, or just a cottage on the water for kicking back at the slip. Easily accommodates six in the long cockpit, and sleeps five comfortably. Last checked this is the only one of its kind on Lake Ontario, always getting compliments from passers-by at the marina. This is a rare type and lovely boat for those who appreciate a fine line and that classic look. A real gem.
A custom steel cradle is stored at Harbour West in Hamilton. The boat is moored at Royal Hamilton Yacht Club for an arranged viewing.
Sadly, we have enjoyed her for only one year. “Stolen Moments” was our wedding gift to each other from our 2021 marriage. As an experienced sailor, my husband looked long and hard for this little jewel. “Stolen Moments” was carefully chosen to fit our dream of sailing/cruising the Great Lakes and beyond. We have been extremely happy with her to date; however life changing health issues have forced a change in future plans.
Below is a list of her many fine features, as well as improvements and upgrades we are so proud of.
