Overview

MEIWENTI has been maintained to the highest standards by her original owners. During the winter months she has been stored in a heated building at a very reputable New England boatyard. MEIWENTI offers everything the cruising sailor could ask for in a 45’ vessel. She has two private staterooms, two private heads, separate stall shower in the forward head, generator, air conditioning, electric winches, watermaker and Stoway rig, which makes her easy to singlehand. She comes with numerous spares for virtually every system on board, a tender with outboard, davits, plenty of canvas and all the maintenance records one could ask for. Her interior is well-ventilated and features gorgeous teak joinerwork. There is storage everywhere, a large workable galley and a bright open and airy main saloon that can seat a large group comfortably for dinner and sleep three. She is now seriously for sale and priced below fair market value.

ACCOMMODATIONS and LAYOUT

MEIWENTI has beautiful teak joinery complimented by a teak and holly sole and has been tastefully decorated. Excellent ventilation and light is provided from eighteen opening ports and seven overhead hatches, all which have insect screens.

Starting forward is the master stateroom with ensuite shower stall and head. The stateroom contains a large double berth with comfortable mattress and custom sheets, ample storage in hanging lockers and lockers outboard of the berth and drawers. Access to a large chain locker is via double louvered doors at the foot of the berth. The ensuite head has a separate shower stall with full standing headroom, a Tecma electric head and vanity sink with medicine cabinet to the left.

Aft of the master stateroom is the main saloon. To port is a 'U'-shaped settee and dining table. The large table has two leaves and can be folded to make a coffee table. To starboard in the main saloon is a straight settee. Both settees make excellent sea berths. Additionally, there are fillers for both the ‘U’-shaped settee and the straight settee to starboard to convert them into a double and single berth, respectively. There are louvered lockers and bookshelves outboard of both settees.

Aft of the saloon to port is a 'U'-shaped galley, perfect for use at sea. It is well-appointed, with double stainless steel sinks, propane stove with oven, refrigerator, freezer, microwave, numerous drawers and lockers and more than ample work surface.

Starboard aft of the main saloon is the guest cabin with an ensuite head that also doubles as the day head. The cabin contains a large double quarterberth, book shelf, lockers and a hanging locker as well as a vanity sink. The ensuite head contains a Tecma electric head, shower, locker and wet locker.

Conveniently located at the base of the companionway steps to port, aft of the galley, is a large outboard-facing navigation station with swing-out seat, containing all instrumentation for controlling and monitoring all communications, navigation and ship’s systems. The desk with opening lid is large enough for full-sized charts.
