Overview

IMMACULATE!  TURNKEY!

Vela Via is a superb example of the popular (and hard to find) Sabre 386.  She has been exceedingly well taken care of by the past 2 owners.  The current owners have done all that 'nitty gritty' maintenance (see descriptions) which most people ignore until it becomes vital to pay attention!   So this boat is ready to head off on new adventures - now.

The Sabre 386 is a classic cruising vessel for a couple or a family.  It's warm cherry interior with a two cabin, one head layout and salon table that folds up against the forward bulkhead, makes it seem very spacious down below. The cockpit is comfortable and safe for cruisers while under way or at anchor.  The size of the boat  and the sail plan makes it easy to handle and the sailing performance is legendary.

Vela Via has the following equipment and upgrades:

Cruise-Air Aircon (new capacitor 2020, new ducting 2019)
Easy-Breathe in-duct air UV air purifier (2019)
Vesper WatchMate AIS Transponder (2020)
ROCNA 20 Anchor w/ chain & rode (2018)
Fortress FX23 Anchor (2018)
MaxProp Classic (2018)
Shaft Shark
Raymarine Autopilot
Raymarine Radar on KATO mount
Marinco EEL shorepower cords & splitter (2018)
Blue Sea Systems Automatic Charging relay (2018)
New running rigging, blocks, Dutchman lines, stanchion blocks (2018)
New fixed coachroof windows (2017)
New Genoa (2015)
LED lighting  ..........
and a lot more.

Don't miss this gem!!  Appointments to view are advised.

Accommodations

The companionway drops you into the salon of the boat which has 6'4 standing room. The L-shaped galley to port and access to the spacious aft cabin behind the galley. The aft cabin has a queen-sized berth and plentiful storage. The  head (with separate shower area) is to starboard,

The chart table is forward of the head on the starboard side and the seat is part of the starboard settee which has a back that pivots to form a back rest for the chart table seat. To port is an L-shaped settee which forms the dinette when the table (stored on the forward bulkhead) is folded down.  The table has a leaf that folds up so that it can reach the starboard settee as well. Port settee pulls out to form a double berth. A TV is mounted on an arm on the starboard bulkhead.

Through the door in the bulkhead is the spacious forward cabin, with center-line berth that can be accessed from both sides. Hull lining is Ash. Storage to port and starboard  with a cedar lined hanging locker. There is a vanity with Corian counter, basin and mirror on the port side as you enter the cabin.
