'Lua Pirata' is set-up for ease-of-handling with her Furling Main and Furling self-tacking Jib.

Accommodations

This SABRE 452 offers a two cabin layout with the owners stateroom and dual access head and shower compartments forward. This luxurious stateroom offers a large double V-berth with lockers and drawers below, two chests of drawers and lockers, a comfortable seat, and a large cedar-lined hanging locker. Ventilation and light are superb. A full length mirror graces the bulkhead. Lockers and a central bookshelf with fiddle on the hull sides above the berth add additional storage. The head counter surfaces are of Corian and the sole is ceramic tile. The head is an electric Vac-U-Flush unit with matching ceramic sink. There's even a laundry hamper for your convenience.

Galley

The galley is open and spacious. A full seven cubic feet of refrigerator space is accessible through two top lids and a front door. The front opening door even has recessed shelves, just like a domestic refrigerator. The microwave is powered by the 2500 watt inverter or shore power. Dry storage volumes are spacious and SABRE even made one cupboard big enough for a lobster pot. So, if your plans call for long passages and/or lots of entertaining, this is a galley you will appreciate.

Main Salon

The main cabin is open and airy, designed with many hatches and ports to fill the cabin with light and fresh breezes. The area to port will seat six adults in comfort while the starboard settee offers a clever fold down table for light meals, a drink or a book. The dining table has two folding leaves and slides to provide cocktail table versatility or to facilitate conversion to a double berth. For your convenience and security SABRE provides a a switch at the companionway which illuminates the courtesy lights and an overhead light at the chart table. A dimmer has been added to the recessed overhead light circuit to add ambiance to this luxurious space. Behind all of these beautiful furnishings is an abundance of storage space; all you'll need for those long cruises you've been planning. The incredibly sumptuous Ultraleather cushions are designed to make your home away from home as comfortable as you've always dreamed it should be.

Navigation Station

The chart table has all the room you need to utilize the sophisticated electronics systems and still has space for paper charts and navigation tools.

Aft Cabin

The aft cabin has plenty of floor space and headroom in addition to a full double berth and private access to the aft head compartment. A cedar lined hanging locker, shelves, and a bureau provide your guests or family plenty of room for all their luggage.

Engine and Engine Compartment

Yanmar diesel, 75 HP, Model 4JH3-TBE, 1199 hours. Access to the engine compartment is excellent through the companionway stairs or the large removable covers in the aft cabin. Of course, the entire engine compartment is very well insulated against noise and vibration.
