Overview

Historically, she has participated in many of the Mediterranean prestigious sailing events, including the Panerai and Prada Circuits placing Third in the 1970 Giraglia Regatta. Built for a Spanish yachtsman to a design by Laurent Giles, she has a very "Mediterranean" design.

ALCOR SECONDO has many innovative features for a yacht of her era with a fin and skeg underbody and very long overhangs. This gives her additional buoyancy in rough weather, yet reduces the wet surface in light wind. Although she has lived most of her days in Spanish waters, ALCOR SECONDO is very capable of an Atlantic crossing and worldwide cruising. There is a model of the vessel on display at the Real Club Nautico in Barcelona.

 Bought in 2000 by its current owner, she has proven to be a comfortable cruising yacht. ALCOR SECONDO accommodates 6 adults, as well as a smaller cabin for a child.
