OUR OPTION is a beatuiful cockpit motoryacht with accommodations to match, inside and out.
Three staterooms & two heads forward, large saloon aft, and large dining & lounge area mid-ship. The fully equipped galley accommodates those long cruises with family and friends.
The flybridge deck can be easily reached from inside or from the cockpit via stairs. The helm is forward to starboard with seating for two. There is additional seating on the port side of the flybridge. The flybridge has a hard-top with full enclosure and is air conditioned.
OUR OPTION is the perfect choice for those who want to enjoy the outside with friends and family, yet have a wonderful interior with all of the comforts of home, on the water. The Sea Ray 540 provides a spacious main deck saloon and galley, three staterooms and two heads with separate shower stalls, and a great flybridge area. OUR OPTION was designed with you in mind, built to last, and has been maintained very well by her two owners.
The large aft cockpit has a hart-top with canvas enclosure. There is a transom door, on the starboard side, leading to the large swim platform. Cockpit seating is along the transom. Molded stair-case makes it easy to go up to the flybridge from here. There are storage compartments in the cockpit and on the transom. The shore power cords are on electric powered reels at the transom. There is a hot & cold pressure shower in the cockpit and fresh water wash down system. Dock side fresh water hook up is here as well. There is a large hatch leading to the cockpit locker storage space and engine room. A S/S sliding door opens to the saloon.
Once inside the enormous saloon you notice the fine craftsmanship, and spacious feeling of this 54' CMY. The cherry cabinetry, beige Ultraleather upholstery, deep pile carpet, and window treatments all contribute to the beautiful accommodations.
There is a love seat to starboard, as you enter, with storage space below. The electrical panels are conveniently located in this area. There is a L-shaped sofa to port, with storage space below, and a large dining/cocktail (moveable) - Hi-Lo high gloss wood table in front. The windows have two different light grade, accordion style shades, one darker than the other. You can pull one down to let a little light through, or pull another that darkens the saloon more. The large windows that are 360 degrees around the area provide an open, light and airy feeling.The galley is located in the forward, starboard portion of the saloon, the two areas work well togeather, OUR OPTION is air conditioned throughout; five zones cover the interior and the flybridge.
The Galley has Granite-colored Corian counter-tops with Corian cutting board & sink, and wood floors. The space provided for storage of supplies and preparing meals is more than ample. The list of galley equipment is long.

The C-shaped dinette / lounge is forward of the galley on the starboard side of the yacht. This is a great place to lounge while under way or at anchor. It's the place to dine. Again, you have a 360 degree view. The table is a hign glass cherry dining table. There is a large Samsung flat screen TV (2014) that may be seen from the dinette or saloon area.
There is an open S/S stair case leading to the flybridge from the forward / port section of the saloon. The construction of the stair case allows you to look through it as if it is not even there. The door leading to the side decks is at the base of this stair case, as are the stairs leading to the sleeping cabins located in the forward portion of the motor yacht.
The master stateroom is mid-ship with queen-size bed angled out from the port hull side. This is a large stateroom with a nicely designed ensuite head & shower. The VacuFlush toilet is in a separate compartment, the shower stall in another, the two are separated by the vanity area with beveled mirrors, sink with Grohe faucet and tile floor. The stateroom is air conditioned, one of five zones and has four opening ports for fresh air.

The forward guest stateroom has a queen-size, centerline bed with innerspring mattress, coordinated spread and pillows. Just like the master, there is a good storage space under this bed, easy to get to via a gas-assist hatch. There is a cedar lined hanging locker, storage cabinets, and storage in floor. TV/VCR/Radio for entertainment.

Guest Head & shower may be accessed from hallway or from forward guest stateroom. It has a tile floor, VacuFlush toilet, separate shower stall, vanity and mirror.
The air conditioned flybridge is always one of the best places to be while cruising. To port, across from the helm is a dinette table with seating, and additional seating that with the push of a button turns into two lounges (tanning beds). The flybridge, for the most part, is covered by a fiberglass molded hard-top and then enclosed by new Straglass enclosure (2013).
OUR OPTION is equipped with AC & DC circuit breaker distribution panels located just inside the cockpit saloon door. Easy to get to, easy to see and monitor, and easy to use.
Ships power is a Westerbeke 20 kW diesel generator with sound shield located in the engine room. It has remote starting, fresh water cooling, and Racor fuel filter system. Shore power is 50 Amp and 30 Amp 50' cords both on Glendinning Cablemasters.

The helm deck is on the flybridge where all of the navigations instrumentation is located. The helm has seating for two. The equipment is easy to see and to use. All but one istrurment is original, and to our knowledge, only one items need attention. There are: Clarion AM/FM radio controls, Cummins engine system read-out each engine, rudder angel indicator, Sea Ray Systems Monitor, Bennett trim tabs controls, Seafire extinguisher system, and the Vetus bow thruster control.

The Sea Ray 450 CMY has great looks and was built to last by one of the best yacht builders in America. With a weight of 49,000 pounds and 18 degree deadrise OUR OPTION will give you a good ride.
Sea Ray used 316 S/S on exterior hardware. The 10 cleats are bollard style. There are seven opening S/S ports and one deck hatch. The hull is fully cored and Vinylester resin was used. The engine stringers are solid fiberglass.

Cummins QSM11 616 HP diesel engines with 800 hours use in a very clean engine room with space to get around. What a pleasure. You enter from the cockpit hatch, down S.S steps, into the lazarrett space. Systems are easy to service from air conditioning, and auto pilot, to generator and batteries. Move forward into the engine room where it is equally easy to service the two Cummins QSM11's and other systems found.
