Overview

Indigo is an excellent example of this popular Bob Perry design featuring the preferred Center Cockpit, 3-stateroom, 2-head layout.  Since 1994 Indigo has been living the good life in Marion Harbor. She sails seasonally for 5 months and is then stored either indoors or under cover for 7 months, all while enjoying a high level of maintenance and updating by prideful owners.  Though she's had several trips to Bermuda and back, this is not a tired round-the-world veteran.  Indigo is in fantastic condition and the owner customizations make her a stand-out.  She's never had teak decks and there are no black iron tanks. For ease of maintenance, some of the exterior teak has been replaced with stainless steel. This is a rare offering and I encourage you to view the full specifications for more details.

In the Designer's own words:

"Designs are the product of countless computations and comparative data. But, the final result or personality of the boat is far more than the sum of the parts and in fact defies calculations.  Every once in a while the designer produces a boat where everything just comes together into a beautiful blend where no evidence of compromise is present.  That is how I think of the Tayana 52."
