Overview
This 2-cabin, 2-head Beneteau 393 is on the hard in Deltaville, VA. It's hard to imagine a Beneteau 393 that is cleaner than Sanity II AND as well equipped. This is a 2-owner boat with owners who have undertaken meticulous maintenance and set the boat up for living aboard and cruising. Small touches, like soft material on the inner surface of the loops that hold up the enclosure, to prevent scratching the eisenglas, are indicative of the detail-oriented nature of her owners.
The Beneteau 393 has many features that make it a really popular and cruising vessel. The walk-through transom & swim platform allow easy access to and from the dinghy and the water. Wide side decks allow quick movement to the foredeck when necessary, but with all lines leading to the cockpit this is a rare occurrence. The large, uncluttered cockpit is ideal for lounging or entertaining. The interior is extremely liveable with a head and cabin, with pullman berth, forward and a second head and cabin aft. The well appointed galley has enormous refrigeration capacity as well as stove & microwave oven. The salon table can be lowered to form a third double berth and the credenza on the starboard side of the salon provides extensive storage, unusual in a boat of this size.
Sanity II is extremely well equipped and is literally a TURNKEY boat. She has the following equipment:
Inmast furling mainsail (new 2016)
CruiseAir reverse cycle Aircon (2 units, 1 new 2015)
Raymarine instruments
Raymarine ES 98 Chartplotter (2015)
Raymarine RD418D Radar (2015)
Raymarine Autopilot
Full enclosure
2 x 65W Solar panels
Davits
Outboard motor lift
LED lighting throughout
AIS
Custom Mattresses
Racor Fuel filters
Balmar 100A alternator.
Sanity II could save your sanity in these crazy times. Make an appointment to come and see this boat before someone else does!
Accommodations
The large, U-shaped galley is to port. It has a large amount of storage space and extensive work surface. The fridge and freezer are in the area against the aft bulkhead. Stove and storage are against the hull and the double s/s sinks run athwartships, separating galley and salon area.
The spacious aft cabin is to starboard under the cockpit and it has 2 opening ports as well as good closet storage space.
The aft head is on the starboard side, forward of which is the nav table and forward of that is a credenza which provides a large amount of storage. The port side of the salon houses the comfortable u-shaped settee and dining table with a bench amidships. The table can be lowered to form a third double berth. So the boat can sleep 6.
The forward cabin has a Pullman style berth to port, with a bench and storage space to starboard. The forward head is in the bow.
