Overview

1996 Beneteau Oceanis 445. Well-presented and race-prepped yacht that had hugely successful 2017 and 2016 seasons in the Georgetown Regattas (she was overall winner and Boat Of The Year in Georgetown Bahamas). The interior design is very efficient for comfortable cruising and racing. Bruce Farr fin-keel design.   Many improvements and new equipment in last year. 

Roma-bout is an excellent boat for cruising, racing and entertaining. She has plenty of room that has features for a Live-a-board. The Owners have maintained and updated systems to simplify cruising and living on board. The cockpit features a walk-thru transom and a shower. Entertaining is made easy with a two-leaf fiberglass cockpit table and teak inlay seating. Below is the roomy main salon and on the starboard side is the large dining area. There is an aft facing chart desk on the starboard side. The galley spreads along the port side. Forward is the master stateroom featuring a queen sized centerline berth with private in-suite head and shower. There are dual staterooms aft, each with its own head/shower.   Spacious interior and rich teak joiner work throughout.  

Must be viewed to be appreciated. She is located in Ft. Lauderdale and available for viewings 7 days a week at short notice..

Accommodations

Romabout sleeps seven. Forward is the owner’s cabin with centerline queen berth. Settee to port and private head w/shower to starboard.

The main salon has a galley outboard to port. The galley is equipped with a double stainless steel sink, top load icebox, New Force 10 three-burner propane stove w/oven, 200 gallon water capacity in 3 fiberglass tanks, hot & cold pressure water, fresh water foot pump. Large U-shaped dinette to starboard.

Aft of the dinette is an aft facing navigation station.

The two aft cabins are identical with large double berths and each has its own (brand-new Jabsco) head & shower, (starboard access to day-head) 3 head holding tanks(never used). lockers, shelves and ample storage.

Deck

White fiberglass hull, with two years left on bottom paint (Seahawk 44).  White fiberglass non-skid decks, fin keel; balanced spade rudder; bow pulpit & rails; double lifelines w/three gates; wheel steering; emergency tiller; swim platform w/ladder; 4 hatches; 8 fixed ports; 10 opening ports. New isinglass dodger; Bimini.

Electrical

Yanmar 50hp fresh-water cooled inboard diesel. 1000 hours sincde total rebuild. 53- gallon fuel capacity;  Battery system consits of 2 4d Gell House batteries, New starting battery. (12 volt) ; battery charger; 12/110 volt electrical panel; circuit breakers; 110 volt shore-power; The yacht is equipped with cabin, navigation, anchor lights. 


Electronics  Ritchie compass; Icom VHF 2008; Raymarine ST 60 depthfinder. Autohelm ST7000 autopilot; Garmin 540S Chart Plotter; CD stereo with remote speakers.

Sails & Rigging

New Doyle sails:  Genoa: 120%, (spare 120% roller-furling genoa) Mainsail: Full batten classic. Aluminum mast & boom; All NEW running rigging. Stainless steel standing rigging; Mast stepped on keel; Profurl roller furling; Two Lewmar 55 self-tailing primary winches. Two Lewmar 43" self-tailing winches. Three winch handles; mainsheet traveler.

Cruising speed 7 knots; maximum speed 8.4 knots; three-bladed folding Maxprop propeller; oil/water/temp alarm; raw water filter; Racor fuel filter system.

Refridgeration: Seafrost engine-driven compressor with 2 large holding plates. Seafrost spare compressor parts for complete replacement.   

Dinghy: 10.5 inflatable. Two Yamaha 2-stroke outboards: 15hp, 8hp.

Liferaft: Revere Ocean Extreme 6-person.New Isinglass dodger. 

Tools, spares, galley-ware(plates/pans etc.),  linens etc. included. 

 All new plexiglass port windows, 

Gear and Equipment:

Anchors/Windless: Lofrans Tigre anchor windless: overhauled 2 years ago.  Lewmar Quikset 45lb,  Bruce anchor: 35lb, CQR:75lb (Hurricane strength). 200 Ft of HT 3/8 galvanized anchor chain.  

New profurl roller-furling lower unit.
