I bought Penoliam in 2005 just before I retired having crewed extensively on a Bowman 40. We have crossed the Atlantic both ways, circumnavigated Ireland and spent 3 years in the Baltic, throughout that time she has never let us down and has turned heads in every harbour. She is an excellent blue water cruiser fully set up for world sailing, inherently safe in all conditions and fast in a breeze. I love her totally and will be very sad to part with her, but my wife no longer sails and long trips away are becoming somewhat antisocial.
