Overview

 

Accommodations

Ther Catalina 350 is a huge boat for her size range.  She has great hull volume, a full beam which is carried far aft allowing for sizeable room below decks.  Forwardmost is the v-berth featuring an island type berth with a real mattress.  The berth is accessible from either side.  The forward cabin has a hanging locker and shelving.  There is drawer storage beneath the berth.  A teak door provides privacy and there is a private door to access the head compartment.  Next aft is the large head compartment with doors to the main cabin and forward berth.  Vanity with sink.  Shower area.  Electric head with holding tank.  Hot and cold pressurized water.   The main cabin has settees port and starboard.  The starboard settee converts into two chairs with an occasional table in between.  The port settee flanks the dining table which may be swapped with a small cocktail table instead.  When not in use, either tabletop stores in the aft stateroom.  Lots of storage in compartments behind the settees.  The nav area is located aft of the port settee featuring a nav table with storage, electrical panel with circuit breakers and space for flush mounted electronics.  The spacious, functional galley is aft to starboard.  It is a U-shape.  The galley features hot and cold pressurized water, stainless steel galley sink, two burner propane stove with oven, 12 volt refrigeration with access from countertop and front access as well.   Lots of storage below and in countertops as well as cupboards above.  The aft stateroom is accessed from the port side with standing headroom in the dressing area, a large athwartships berth with a real mattress, hanging locker and storage.   Teak and holly cabin sole throughout the boat.  Lots of overhead hatches and ports in the coachroof for excellent ventilation.  Overhead 12 volt lighting throughout.  Upgraded blue Ultra-Leather on seating areas.   16,000 BTU AIR CONDITIONING WITH REVERSE CYCLE HEATING.

Compass at the pedestal;  VHF radio; Raymarine ST60 Depth;  Raymarine ST60 knotmeter;  Raymarine Autohelm 6000 autopilot;  Garmin 276C Color GPS on a stainless steel mounting bracket at the helm;  JBL MR-18 Stereo CD player with cabin and cockpit speakers and remote control at the helm.

Electrical system

12 volt DC and 110 volt AC electrical system with a comprehensive electrical panel located at the nav area.  The DC system features 2- 4D deep cycle batteries, battery selector switch, DC voltmeter and amp meter;  the 110 volt AC system features 30 amp shore power service, 30 amp shorepower cord, Charles 5000SP battery charger, 110 volt GFI controlled outlets throughout the interior.

Sails and Rigging

Selden in mast roller furling for the mainsail;  roller furling 135% genoa with suncover; all halyards and sheets are led to the cockpit through sheet stoppers.  Heavy duty mainsheet traveler;  adjustable genoa tracks on weather decks.  Two speed primary and two coach roof winches, all self tailing and all two speed.  Aluminum mast and boom with a powerful double spreader rig and stainless steel standing rigging.  Spare jib halyard.  

Hull and deck

Solid fiberglass hull with white gelcoat, gelcoated dark blue boot stripe and a taped cove stripe.  White deck and coachroof with grey gelcoated non-skid surfaces on deck, coachroof and cockpit.  Swim platform with integral swim and boarding ladder.  Stainless steel double bow and stern rails.  Stern rails have built in seating.  Stainless steel stanchions with double lifelines being vinyl coated.  Cockpit lockers;  Docking cleats;  WING KEEL;  anchor locker at bow;   Sunbrella dark blue dodger and bimini with stainless steel frames;  connector between;  Boot for the bimini when folded;  cockpit cushions.
