Overview

Silver Lining is pristine. She has been lightly used on the Chesapeake Bay,  with +/- 370 hours on the engine.  Shoal draft and in-mast furling main, large cockpit with folding wheel and perch seats on the stern rail, spacious galley and salon, make her is easy to sail and comfortable to live on.  

The interior is light and well ventilated, with plenty of seating and table space.  It is suitable for a family or a couple with guests.  There is lots of storage throughout, so if you are thinking of going cruising, you can stow all that extra gear.

Accommodations

The Catalina has a light and spacious interior, with large galley to starboard and access to the aft cabin to port. The engine compartment is below and behind the companionway stairs.

The aft cabin has a double berth w/ inner spring mattress & custom sheets as well as storage.  Ventilation is through an overhead hatch into the cockpit.

Forward of the aft cabin is the chart table with storage compartment. The electrical panel (protected by a hinged perspex cover) is above and the instruments are easily to hand.   The port settee serves as the chart table seat; the dining table is neatly hinged on each side to fold into a cocktail table.  Salon seating upholstery is cream Ultra Leather.

Forward of the galley are 2 seats with a table between that can serve as a breakfast table.  There is storage below the seats and drawers and a hanging locker forward. Hanging lockers are cedar lined.

Access to the head is to port, opposite the hanging locker with access from the salon as well as the forward cabin.  The head has a separate shower area enlosed with a curtain and electric head.

The forward cabin has a double berth that can be accessed from each side, with an inner spring mattress, fitted sheets and electric lifting mechanism to raise the head.  Storage is beneath the berth and along the hull sides as well as just inside the door on the starboard side. It is ventilated by a large hatch which provides ample light as well.
