Recent upgrades in 2018 include a new Mainsail, 135% Genoa and new Running Rigging. All systems have recently been checked and serviced as needed. She was built for – cruising comfort and fun sailing. Her long underbody and wing keel ensure that sailing is fast and responsive. Much of her early life was spent in Long Island Sound, used on weekends and for longer cruising vacations. In 2011 she was trucked to St. Petersburg, FL where she was fitted with A/C and began her new life sailing in the Gulf, in the sunshine and alongside the dolphins, who like to check out who’s sharing their space. Outfitted with custom made teak hatch covers and a screened hatch door that lets in the cool night air. If you haven't been aboard a 2-cabin 42 Catalina, prepare to be impressed. She features one of the largest and most comfortable 2 cabin and 2 head layouts in its class.
The large main salon is spacious and features a u-shaped dinette to port. Opposite is a settee flanked by an adjoins navigation station.
The galley seems to go on forever with impressive working surfaces and a serious amount of storage, including a "walk-in" storage locker and a pantry. It's the closest thing you'll find on the water to a family room/kitchen combination.
The owner's stateroom is located forward with a Pullman berth to port. Opposite is a bank of drawers, two lockers and a seating area
